Black on black text?

On a Samsung 8, Android cell phone, Chrome Browser.

After clicking on the link to read a news story, while the text in the article is white on black, all of the replies posted by others is in black on black text.

Only way to read it is to either switch my phone settings to high contrast mode, which displays replies in several colors like green  or yellow, or back completely out of the article to read them in the normal black text on a white background..

    Speaking of which... the new black background of the dark theme is not black enough IMO. And the light grey text on darker grey box I'm typing this reply in doesn't have enough contrast. In case you were looking for aesthetic feedback :)
