The new HP Reverb G2

It sure would be nice if I didn't have to search through a bunch of other sites for a comprehensive review of the new, soon to be released HP Reverb G2 VR HMD. I see other hardware reviews here. I see non MMO games reviewed here. I've never seen VR gear reviewed here and only one VR game review and it was a game that I've never even heard of that was in early alpha at best.

Is there a reason VR is such an avoided topic here?

I think people have even come right out and told the staff to stop doing them as it amounted to advertisements and that they were doing a terrible job compared to sites that are dedicated to doing them. Well sounds like a case of 'damned if you and damned if you don't'.

I stand corrected. I think the Reverb G2 is a substantial enough piece of hardware to write about. It appears to be everything the Index offered and more with a lower price tag. Considering the growth of VR in the last 12 months, I wouldn't be disappointed if MMORPG did a little more in VR in general as this is the first site I generally go to for game reviews.

It seems anytime a hardware review is done, people complain. Then again, every time a game review is done, people complain (guilt of this).
