Between 35 to 70fps with an average rig depending on location.

This patch is a good news for two reason: bring more substance to flight model (among others things like turrets) requested by community. Second, this is required for SQ42.

With SQ42 Beta coming Q3 2020 this is definitely good news.

Just another example of how those who pay cash for ships will have no advantage, I suppose.  Waiting to hear the rationalization for this one, and how things are a certain way in alpha, so will naturally continue to be that way at release.

Some of them have limited time insurance.

You can keep them for life if you make additional insurance purchases through in-game cash, but without those insurance purchases you can't.

Its just a few weeks away now. Finally, all the haters and naysayers will be silenced. Soon they will be able too see for themselves how the almost finished game looks like. In a few weeks...
I know, I know. After all those delays it is finally happening! Abandoning the roadmap in March had me worried for a bit but I trust them. Lets shut the haters up, I can’t imagine them actually thinking it won’t be released on time as promised.

Oh look boys and girls. There's a call.

Let's pick up and see who it is.

    Well hello!

It's Mr. Mastercard. He wants his money for the thousands of dollars we spent on cartoon  space ships in Star Citizen.

Cover your ears boys and girls! He says we are dumbasses.

I told him our ships now have better thrusters.

Mr. Mastercard says pay up bishes.

... And mister Visa say: "you don't have to pay more than a 45$ (depending on taxes) starter package as ships and weapons are available with in game credits". :)

Absolutely correct even if you tried hard to say the opposite. Insurance (with in game credits) have to be taken to ensure you can get your ship destroyed back asap.
Those with LTI will save a negligable amount as insurance are not intented to be high, contrary to crew, equipments, quantum fuel and ammunitions that will require substantial upkeep amount for large ship.

By pledging more $, you don't become the king of the hill, you allow an ambitious game to be affordable for all at 45$.

To be honest, I don't even expect SQ42 beta to start in Q3 because of Covid. IT won't either bother me as there is no reason, after years of development to rush because a date. Naysayers will cry to the ennnnd and CIG will delveir whan ready. Business as usual :)

Sure, Joe.  We believe you.  At release, people who paid thousands will have no significant advantage over those who didn't.  They'll be fine with that, because they donated this money out of pure love for the game.  Not only that, the larger SC backers are so kind, they're willing to spend more themselves so others don't have to spend as much.  This totally sounds legit.  This is exactly how humans function.  Have you even thought about what you're claiming?

I don't think anyone would be bothered too much if RSI just announced something like they're running late and new target date is 3 months later.

Right now the bigger issue is that RSI has gone dark about it.

But Joe, SQ42 Beta Q3 2020 is THE date. The date you have used to shut haters up, to make fun of their failed predictions and time lines, to mock them. I told you roughly a year ago you shouldn’t make fun of others’ their predictions when your own haven’t come true yet because when they wouldn’t you would look like a fool.

And here we are, with another delay and another reason as to why. Doesn’t matter for CIG and the fans in the slightest, it does make you look bad though, as in 90 days tops bad. Guess your predictions are just as bad, should we make fun of you too now?

Right at the March lockdowns, I predicted the Covid crisis would be good for another year of RSI delay excuses.  ;)

Of course, just about two years ago I wrote that every year it would be the same excuses (though the claimed reasons might be different).   If it weren't for the past history of delays, micromanagement, hubris, and company failure, it wouldn't be as trenchant an issue.

    Same as it ever was.....
