What Other Hyped MMOs Are Coming Soon?

In a bit of an MMO rut right now, and was waiting for New World for a long time.  Unfortunately with it being pushed back to next year I've now got no choice but to wait.

Apart from New World, were there any other decent looking MMOs coming soon, or perhaps having just been released?  I know there's several in development, but I'm looking for one that's due to come out soon, I guess in the next month or so.  I've not really been paying much attention to any other releases as I was pinning all my hopes on New World, but now that it's not an option I'm gonna have to broaden my horizons.

So that being said, what other MMOs are being released soon or HAVE been released, with any kind of hype?  Are there any recent ones worth playing?  I'm more of a PvE guy by the way, so please take that into account.

    For PvP I expect that Crowfall launches this year.  Not aware of any PvE ones.  Closest is likely Pantheon.

    Saga of Lucimia is the other PVE MMO on the horizon, but also a good two or three years away I'm thinking.

    Not sure I'd call it coming soon, but definitely Blue Protocol for me.

    After Pantheon and Saga of Lucimia, the wait for a new PvE MMORPG might be another decade; nothing major seems to be on the horizon beyond those two.  So, we might see something in 2-3 years, then nothing before 2030-2035.

    I'm with the others in thinking that it would be surprising if anything released this year.

    Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.

    Agreed.  For the record, dropping an expansion onto the market is not a new release.  Big difference.

    Camelot Unchained is the only one im looking forwards to, but we're still years away from launch....if we get there


    I may give Crowfall a go when it releases, but im not a fan of action combat so I can't see myself sticking around.


    I also love The Lord of the Rings, so I'm curious to hear more about Amazons Middle Earth MMO, but it's in such an early stage that i doubt it'll ever reach release.

    I dont look forward to any game unless it is released, people love it and it gets good reviews, and it is a game i'd want to play. It's a good strategy, i never end up waiting longer than it takes to plug in my credit card to purchase it. Otherwise, i dont wait for anything.

    Nothing, nothing, nothing. We are waiting for years and years of delays for a handful of crowdfunded games that are obviously so bad their creators are struggling to even launch them. And the only MMO with actual company behind it, is delayed yet again for a year, after reportedly being so bad it needs complete rework.

    Its safe to say MMO are this time really actually dead genre

    You are looking at next year at the earliest, find something life fulfilling to do until then like watching "reality" TV or playing Twitter.
