Let's have some fun. Take some properties and make the most absurd, out of touch spinoff ideas possible.

    'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless. 

    It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

    It is just huge resource waste....'

    Courtrooms of Elyria:  This Crowdfunded spin-off would follow the ups and downs of a would be developer as he fights off lawsuits from spurned customers and strives to raise millions more in funding.

    That concept sounds more fun and appealing than the actual pitch for Chronicles of Elyria.

    Shower with Your Dad- Senior Edition

    The fun doesn't have to stop just because you grow up.  In the Sr edition you can still shower with your 80 year old Dad!!

    EVE: Escaping Stations - an escape room game based on "Walking in Stations" where instead of figuring out all the little puzzles, you que them all up and wait for their "learn" timer to complete. 

    Saga of Heroes 2: VanGawd - It takes place in an urban environment and all the NPCs speak with a heavy NY accent. 

    APB: Revolution - you play either a protester or law enforcement in a country gone mad. Servers: Austin, Portland, Seattle, New York City.

    Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.
