HEX Shards of Fate is shutting down

Yes, it is finally happening. After a couple of years of limping along, not honoring KS promises, failing to be able to merge accounts with Steam accounts, transferring accounts halfway through its life cycle and when not responding in time losing your entire account, almost non existent customer support and a whole lot of other drama HEX will be closed for good at the end of this year. After the 31st of December the game is gone for good

Perhaps you think I sound salty. And I do, this is one of the most disappointing projects I have ever backed, especially because it really is a great game.

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless. 

It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

It is just huge resource waste....'

    Yes, you don't have to be bad to fail; it is a saturated market, seemingly more than any other in the gaming industry and that is with the big guns not producing MMOs anymore.

    For the life of me I cannot seem to get into card games. The closest I came was Hand of Fate but the combat in that was too hard for me so the card mechanics never factored in. I watched the Blizzard game thinking I might try it but when I tried I kept losing to the bank chick and I decided these games are over my head.

    I think I may have downloaded this game but I don't recall playing it though.
