No, I didn't say that Intel launched a GPU for servers.  The product is literally called the Intel Server GPU.  That naming scheme doesn't sound like a product intended to have a successor.

Intel recently launched a discrete GPU for laptops that was basically a Tiger Lake CPU, except without the CPU cores.  Now Intel has put four of those on a single board and called it the Intel Server GPU.  No, Intel doesn't have anything analogous to CrossFire or SLI.

Apparently the intended market for this is Android cloud gaming in China.  People have been talking about cloud gaming for many years, but we've now retreated from "cloud gaming will allow you to run AAA games at max settings on a toaster" to "cloud gaming will allow you to run Android games on an Android phone".

I'm not an expert on the market for phony games, but the market for people who want to play Android games but don't have an Android phone to run them, but do have the sort of exorbitant bandwidth needed to make heavy use of game streaming, doesn't seem likely to be large.  Not even in China.  Unless there's some weird law there that makes this not completely crazy, like how China banned game consoles for many years.
