What are the conditions that most often cause throttling? Consoles? Multiple games being played at same time? FPS games? I haven't had the experience. So I'm curious.

What I experienced was throttling was done when using those file sharing apps "torrents" that would piggy back off each others bandwidth.
What I still see is when more than 2 connections are used my bandwidth becomes unusable.It is suppose to be illegal but they have ways to get around it.
My assumption on why more than 2 connections is to stop people from sharing their bandwidth with neighbors and just sharing the bill/cost.If you call to complain they just tell you it's the router and to try and connect direct w/o the router ..lol.

As to this vpn brand,i hear customer support is poor/low quality.Also HOW and WHY you connect seems to be a sketchy option.So my assumption is that if you are using the vpn for something of little matter they might be directing you through free non reliable IP's.

VPN gate might be something to look at,it is free and operates out of some university in Korea.I noticed other free choices as well and for all you know these pay services might just be piggy backing off the free services.

You cannot trust ANYONE even reviews on for example the most popular Nord VPn are sketchy as fk.Like some dude claims he did a thorough extensive review of NordVPN and then has their ad banners/links posted all over the place lol.It is no different than the RIDGE wallet hype,tons of people are sponsored by them and to me it is just a laughable pile of crap wallet.
