If you ban video games just ban the Internet too since that has far more violent media on it.. oh wait I forget.. Politicians love Porn. Nevermind! Vidja Games are EVIL! Let's focus on banning that notttt the guns! Definitely the video games!

While there is something to what you say(modern Karens being super permissive etc), we still have to ask WHY these modern parents don't spend time with their, presumably, loved ones. And it's because of the socioeconomic situation. That's the root cause of everything(well...most of time ; sometimes Eldar scenario happens where there's simply too much of a good thing that leads to a bad thing).

There is a VERY big picture that i doubt even 0.1% are seeing.Unless you grew up before the age of social media/cell phones/PC's you won't even know what has happened to you.
All these people think they are doing what is normal.

I recently watched several videos of interviews and inquiry's with people that actually work behind the scenes of these giant social media corps.
Social medio and gaming,the whole lump of internet money making schemes is controlling people to the point of addiction.
Rather than admit being addicted "egos"people will instead point the finger ight back at you and defend their stance tooth n nail instead of stopping and THINKING for a minute.

The dude who used to be a top man for Facebook who now works for another large firm that makes money from marketing and social media won't let his kids have any access to TV or cell phones or social media.He knows how manipulative it and how dopamine works in creating addicted puppets they can control.

Does this actually create violent people,well we may never  know however there have been some subtle and no so subtle hints over the years but again most people don't pay attention or remember.
examples ..
1 Dude leaked early information on game was met by thugs hired by said develoepr to rough him up
2 Lineage players/real gang forced the information out of employees to learn the whereabouts of said gamers that pissed them off and of course went after them at their homes.
3 We have seen MANY times people admitting they are addicted to playing Wow and that is just one game.
4 Russian gamers..Remember that part where i mentioned dopamine,well the human brain reacts with chemicals to ANY type of interaction,some have a nicely balanced system,some do NOT.Point being if you THINK some interaction cannot cause violence,you truly are a dumbass.It's not the game itself "just code"it is what type of interactions lie within that game.

How about looking at home and studying how parents neglect their children these days. That may cause some issues when those children grow up but no, far easier to blame the video game that was babysitting your kid while you partied away the night. Parents as usual abdicating their responsibilities and looking to blame video games.

 I am a firm believer that there is no such thing as Video Game Addition. Because there is no such thing as Sport Playing addiction or any other socially accepted activity.

As I said on the other thread about this, the reason legislatures have subcommittees is so that politicians can propose stupid things to make a campaign donor happy.  The stupid things that they propose are supposed to just disappear in subcommittee and never see the light of day, and usually they do.
