    Has anyone played this? I feel like it's been around forever and it looked okay back in the day. I can't imagine it has a big playerbase though (which wouldn't be a huge negative).

    I was very surprised to see this. I thought this project had been cancelled (couple years ago?).

    It looked interesting. If I recall it never made it out of paid testing? This went on for a long time and then the playerbased dropped to where they couldn't support it. I know they were looking at an investor but I also didn't expect that it was still going. Some very interesting ideas in the game.

    It looks like there is a free trial and $5 per character subscription. Even as an altaholic I love this idea.

    'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless. 

    It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

    It is just huge resource waste....'

    I can play Everquest on P99 without a problem, so is this game really bad in terms of gameplay or appearance?

    Gameplay and appearance. And with appearance I don’t mean old looking or basic, I mean without artistic quality. This contrary to Everquest.

    I backed and played this. Even then, dated graphics with boring combat. I think I played for a few hours before I uninstalled the game.

    I once sold my PFO account for over $1000...
    Best deal ever...  and that was when I was a leading critic on here.  Was totally like "You SURE you want this?"  OOOOKAYYY....

    XP was time based.  So the account was a day one account and had a "Destiny's Twin" perk though Kickstarter so it was 2 characters for one sub.   But that was some crazy shit.
