This is an urgent message to all ARKS Operatives, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis officially released globally June 9th 2021, and has transitioned SEGA's popular Phantasy Star series into uncharted territory. With the introduction of features, such as Battle Power, Region Mags and an open world to adventure in, does Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis' new additions bring the series one thousand years into the future as the story suggests?

last night was maintenance so maybe that.
but serious if you didn't played the old one you better let this settle and maybe come back close to november, when they will launch more content, for now with daily quests bugged, havest bugged and look now regional mag are not giving the buffs they did before the maint, you better let it go.
take note too, for now top gear is still pso2 top gear, unless you want to grind like hell for that 1% extra damage on a 4* gear who will become obsolete soon
Game breaking bugs.
Unplayable lag.
One single region.
3 skills per class.
This game is a tech demo, not a finished product.
Combat and movement is fun and mostly better than PSO2 (besides getting animation locked now), but overall this game should not have been released anytime soon, and it damn well showed.
Incredibly disappointed in a game I was so excited for. By far one of the worst launched MMORPGs I've ever played.
The world looks awesome though, never had an issue with it loading at all. There will be issues when you transition into new areas where you could stutter or lag for a few seconds, but I've never had an issue with the world loading.
Def a way better start to newgenesis than the original pso2.
You're right, and maybe it's something lost in translation. The quests aren't very good. Right now I wouldn't even be surprised if the entire storyline was kind of terrible, but it's still waaaay better than the story in PSO2 cause you couldn't even play through that story 90% of the time. Most missions you just watched what happened between a few characters talking. After a while you'd run a small instanced mission and then you'd be back to watching conversations again.
I know they plan on adding more levels and content by the fall. I really hope it gets here sooner than later.
With keyboard I can press a number and the item/ability is used.
Weapons are different since you can muli weapon, but if you want to swap between weapons you do have to use the d pad again. It's slower than pc for sure.
I think you can remap some of the buttons but I don't think you'd make it any better.
The game's UI is claimed to be aimed for console, yet it's quite unintuitive for such a fast paced game.
You stay sassy!
