We don't need to hear from shills or patronizing interviews,we need straight up facts.
What i see is something i knew from the start,a flawed pvp system that will heavily favor larger companies.
Even still the actual design of War mode combat is lol...sad.A pile of players waiting a gate to be released then they all run into the open area around the control points and play whacka mole with no zaxis no cover just start spamming each other.
That type of combat to me is like 0/10 for quality pvp combat.I happen to have spent years playing UT99 where this control point idea originated from and it was never played because it is simply NOT a good design,it could be but it needs really good well designed maps to make it good.Standing out in the open is NOT good pvp gameplay.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
There is only one direction for MMOs to go in, ever easier levelling, this claw back after they upped the xp needed shows that and I doubt the additional 20% needed will survive long after launch. Look At CF recently, VIP can just instant click to top level, how long before that's in NW?
That's the real fear, right? Especially when they started talking about boosters in the game.
You can technically do this in most every MMO nowadays too - LotRO, WoW, FFXIV - all of them have items you can buy to insta-level to either cap or right around the cap. It's definitely a trend that won't end, especially as players are more and more willing to pay for it.
Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.
Did you ever play D&D or some other RPG?
You stay sassy!
