I was thinking about what people plays today beside minecraft and fortnite and wow...

Where is the fun ?

What game is worth spending time and money in ?

I do play Poe and Lol and watch animes until im bored.
But i want in on the fun people have in games !

I likes as conan exile, poe , warframe, Eso and mmorpg mostly since shooters is not for me.

Or is there any Discord servers where i can join that looks for games ?
Like a place for lost gamers :D

    Not playing ATM, but I had a solid 18 months of fun with FO 76.

    Just crossed the 3 month mark in ESO, getting a bit weary of my PVE tank so thinking of rolling a more PVP centric character.

    I rotate my games. Right now, I'm enjoying some Ult.Apoc in DoW:SStorm, it's high summer, so I figure it might be a good time for some nautical things(...Pirates in Total Warhammer 2, Pillars 2?), I finally purchased Nioh 2, so that's on the line as well...

    ...and no. I don't play WoW(never did). I don't play Fortnite or PUBG(never did). Minecraft's just entirely too unfocused and weird to me.Even on 4x spectrum, I'd much rather take Beyond Earth or Endless Legend than the rote Civ series. So... :smile: 

    Oh and I finished my journey in Warhammer Online. It was...quite an experience even if the gameplay's nothing to write home about. A very good aesthetic experience though ; thoroughly enjoyed it. Ulthuan, Dwarflands(especially Thunder Mt and the likes of Neborhest Tower), some parts of the Empire story(Ostland is beautifully realized! As is Talabecland, but I won't even comment the "Hergig Landing" and some related quest texts...they're simply an insult to a well read mind)...yeah, it was a worthwhile experience with utterly average gameplay.

    I am mostly a singleplayer focused player, so I can't recommend Discords and the like. Sorry. But to try and be of some use, can you define what exactly you're looking for?

        SWL has a solid community always groups running always plenty of players about..

    I got a month of WoW and got really bored (this rarely happened before since i play very casually). Got a week of game time left and every time i log in I just want to log out and play FFXIV instead, so I did just that.

    I just jumped in SWL and jumped in the instance event going on right now .. This was just the people inside was plenty more in Argatha .. 

      Far from Dead:)

      Its a great game .. very unique in the MMO world

    I tryed the secret world legend and the start was great, then it became a dlc and no people was leveling up and i felt alone..but it was not a bad game..the first story quest was insane puzzled made :D.
    I might try it again

    Im looking for online games with alot of people that eventualy bunch up and builds or fights or explores. Games where i dont need to compete solo to win.

    Something with gear and loot

    I just installed SWL and started with my lvl 11 character..but i noticed this game have not been patched since oct, 2020  ..allmost 1 year with no patch ?

    Yeah, the content comes at an unsteady trickle. What is there is excellent in terms of story, and puzzle solving provided you don't just look up the answers.

    It is unique as Scorchien says and well worth playing through at least once for fans of horror and the supernatural.

    I uninstalled it again since i losttrack of what i was doing a and the game crashed 5 times within 1 h and the animation and ui and combat was horrible..and its a shame cuz the rest is good enough. Also they only keep this game on life support by making events now and then.

    Looks like you'd have liked TSW more then, the mentioned "the rest", the unique and great part (world, story, missions, investigation/puzzles, NPCs, etc. ) are all TSW :)
    Legends is the horrible (or in dev-speak "visceral and fun, all hail the mighty reticle") action combat and its matching UI.

    I'm currently playing my new Jem'hadar recruit in STO.

    Inbetwen play sessions I throw in some Minas Tirith lagfest event fun in LotRO's Midsummer.

    And, on the singleplayer side I'm still messing around with the Horned Rat and its shadow, turned out to be a real nostalgia trip...
    (it was a gog.com freebie a few weeks ago, talked about it with Gorwe in a similar game seeking thread. The first Warhammer game on PC, from '95)

    Got completely fed up with everything, including evergreens like Monster Hunter and LotRO.

    Bought Outriders, Bravely Default 2, Mass Effect Legendary Collection and Bio Mutant to find some fun.

    Ended up binging on the horrible Switch port of the Ninja Gaiden Collection. Still doing that, my physical edition came in the mail a couple of days ago.

    Ikcin in response to yours sincerely debating whether or not single-player offline MMOs exist...



    'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless. 

    It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

    It is just huge resource waste....'

    In 2021 I find that I am now more of a game "explorer" than a game player......I like to try new games, get a feel for them, but then move on fairly quick....I guess I like to be informed on many games rather than an expert at one or two.

    Nothing bad with that(unless you're like me and have a very good memory ; that's obviously antithetical to this desired playstyle). It's also the way I prefer to play, finish the story, move on to something else, return later. I just don't care about leaderboards, mastery etc.

    If you ask me, it's how it's meant to be played, but, ofc, there's a multitude of opinions about that.

    I'm not much of a multiplayer, player :(

    With the Summer Sales going on right now with GOG and Steam, I'm hoping to pick some more single player titles.

    Otherwise, I'm still adventuring in Valheim mainly (new start last week), with trying out City Skylines and The Outer Worlds.

    I also picked up Rimworld (finally) and trying it out.

    I know none of these are what you're looking for, but that's what I'm busy with :)

    Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.
