If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.
They still aren't really fixing one of the biggest problems I had with game. Looking at GTA5. Even after you finish the story, it still feels like a real city. CP77 just falls flat beyond the story. The side missions out side of a few (i.e Skippy for the win) are boring as hell. Like take your apartment. You have this nice apartment that serves almost no real purpose. You can't change it, you can't upgrade it. You can't really move to another part of the city.
I like the game story for most part, it got two playthroughs out of me. But nothing they have done so far or even announced for the future, has me thinking. That maybe it's time to reinstall it, and play again. One male V playthrough, one female V playthrough, and that's all it took. I still reinstall GTA5 time to time, just to run around city doing random crap.
Don't even get me started on the fun I still have with Saints Row 3 and 4, lol.
In War - Victory.
In Peace - Vigilance.
In Death - Sacrifice.
They down to a one man team?
Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
Well, there's a stream tomorrow at 6 pm central on twitch channel so perhaps they'll tell us?

It's just to keep up the appearance of still working on the game, while in reality they have given up on it and moved on to other projects, like next Witcher installment and Witcher 3 4K update.
The game has gotten such a bad press, with having to give people their money back for those that wanted to return the game (which was also smoke and mirrors, as good luck trying to return the game at that time. The store refused to take mine back, as the regional distributor refused due to them not hearing anything from CDProjekRed).
Whatever resources and money they put into the game going forward isn't going to gain them anything financially. People just don't come back and buy the game again.

You might want to check out the sales stats, it's not as bad as you may think. It even spiked when returning to the PS-store. Can we confirm they have given up? No, but there is only so much they can do with the game and it's core systems without a massive re-write.
That's because most people weren't allowed to return the game (me included). Distributers refused to authorize stores to accept returns as they never got a go-ahead from CD Project Red..
It was all smoke and mirrors by CD Project Red in the Media.
Sales stats also won't be updated afterwards to process returns. So we'll never know how many people were actually able to return the game.
And that it spiked when it returned to the PS store doesn't say anything, as a lot of people don't read gaming news and were unaware of the problems and just bought it when it became available.
i don't really get the comparisons with GTA just because it's an open world city. CP77 is an RPG, not a GTA game. The games don't even feel like each other. I've never truly enjoyed a GTA game after GTA2, and i do actually enjoy CP2077, mostly because it's a story driven RPG, like an open world version of Deus Ex.
EDIT: as for Saints Row.... I'd play SR3 any day over GTA.
Absolutely, CP still have issues, and hopefully CDPR keeps fixing them like they've always enhanced all their games before. GTA is indeed a fully working game since Rockstar nailed that recipe decades ago and just keeps copy/pasting it so they don't have to "fix" what is not broken. But hose things you mention are part of the core GTA game, while just being a side thing in CP (except for the AI, that needs to be addressed pronto) so they, in my experience, never felt the same. GTA have never come to my mind when playing CP, same the other way around.
A game that released with 1/10th the content of games like RDR2 & GTAV(which cost the same or less at release) is "Worth every penny"???
People like you are why companies like this get away with releasing crap.
This game needs at least 500% more content than it has to justify the price tag, With the content it has now, It's a $20 early access game at best.
Then they shouldnt have wasted time on broken cop system.
If you fire a gun on the sidewalk do all the npc's still vanish in thin air?
Been playing The Ascent and even there when the bullets start flying the non combatant npc's dont vanish they start running, say stuff like "why me" or "I knew today was going to be bad" and some drop on the ground to try to avoid getting caught in the crossfire.
Somebody, somewhere has better skills as you have, more experience as you have, is smarter than you, has more friends as you do and can stay online longer. Just pray he's not out to get you.
