Download it , do the tutorial and come back in a month or 2 if you don't fancy playing it now. As you earn 40k skill points (called EP) per month.

If you do try it, go the whole hog and join a PVP corp and get on discord and comms. And get 3 accounts and play them all at the same time. The game is a bit slow at first and at times but if you are occupied with 3 or more accounts you have plenty to do.

If you carebear alone on the non-PVP islands you will get bored.

It is like Eve but it's Robots on land. The PVP is much better than EVE as there is elevated terrain and WASD is required. No "Keep at range 2000" like in EVE and letting the FC warp you around.

I gave this a go way back in the day. It was a good effort for a small dev team. It's EVE Online with mechs. There is zero community and no PvE really. 

Dead game is long dead.

Yes and we can make it grow. it is not rotting. The "new" dev team continuously tweak it and they also are adding new content.

If you gave this game the time of day, most of you would love it. The pvp is supurb.

Just download it and try it. It;s 3gigs, you have nothing to lose. Then join a pvp corp on day 1. They will fucking give you a tonne of shit if you are a cool guy that gets on their comms.

There has been a massive update with approx 27 new islands added. It has brought in quite a lot of new players.

Check it out. It's only 3Gb and its free. You can be playing in 5 mins.

Its a game that shines if your in discord and on comms so do that or maybe don't bother, frankly.
