With the holiday and all, things were a little quieter than usual this week. Even so, there were still a lot of things happening in the indie MMO space this week, including three new entries into the IMS. One thing I didn't list was all of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, so be sure to check out your favorite indie MMO for any special deals. Anyway, hopefully you have come out of your turkey coma by now, so let's get started with this week's Indie MMO Spotlight.

It also looks like the game is going to be full loot, non consensual PVP. It doesn't explicitly say "full loot", but it does talk about other players being able to attack you and steal your stuff. Unless there are some awfully harsh restrictions to crack down on griefing, that can quickly make the entire rest of the game superfluous.
That's expected from a Tibia otserver, they're usualy reused assets with very little creativity, in my experience.
Mir corporation, is based in toronto, canada, i dont know why, but this gave me a little more "hope", not a fan of most eastern developed games.
i had not suspected that i would suddenly, out of the blue, be hoping for a "swgish" Mmorpg to succed.
i guess this is my december present, despite not quite being in december yet
a bit of info i found noteworthy:
What engine Galaxies of Eden uses?
Galaxies of Eden is powered by Unreal Engine at the client side and MIR Server Engine at the server side.
MIR Server Engine is written in C++ and has been specifically crafted to let players immerse themselves in a detailed, heavily interactive online virtual world. There are plans for the engine to be open sourced and made available to other developers to use, with a revenue share agreement, soon after Galaxies of Eden releases.
What will be the payment model?
Galaxies of Eden is planned to be subscription based.
Main takeaway was the KiraTV video in which I thought he gave some decent info/opinions:

Glad you like it. I go through the games' websites, discords, steam pages, and twitter each week so you don't have to. I also browse through a few subreddits and other MMO and indie game sites. I still miss stuff and am always on the lookout for new games, so be sure to let me know if you find any he's I'm not covering yet.
