Still Fun for a Keyboard-Challenged Carebear

Been playing for some weeks now and there is plenty to do without getting ganked and looted... too much.

There are a lot of live events that do not involve PvP.  And if one is wandering about and does fall prey to a skilled Player Killer, they can't take much of your stuff.  So it's not too painful.

The crafting and event quests are fun.

My biggest gripe is the interface.  Controlling the attack and block directions are clunky, even with imaginative keybindings.  Sometimes those inputs are processed, and sometimes they are not.  Horse controls are really unintuitive for me.  And some of the descriptions used in some of the windows is abstract and confusing.  Not sure what all those buttons do or why they are active or inactive.  There seem to be at least three different windows for upgrading villages.

Trying to make a First-Person-Shooter with realistic melee leads to a challenging interface at best. But the combat is fun and rarely trivial.  Even mobs a third my level can defeat me.

There seem to be enough people to have open warfare and sieges quite often.  Some are open loot and some are not.  My fun comes after the zerg and it's time to rebuild those pillaged farms and mills.  And there's always bandits to slay.
