Other than graphics why not give it a go? You can be anything like for example a naturlist raising gender studies through looking for suspicious lemons. (it's literally just picking up items at an even) Come on in, it's literally the sandbox that most people are looking for.
This isn't a signature, you just think it is.

I've dabbled in that myself. So far it has been pretty decent.

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.- FARGIN_WAR
1) Inventory management sim, you will be frustrated with inventory for a long long time in this game, it prides itself on making you juggle inventory and drop items that you need to be keeping for quests. This is how they want you spending your time, running back and forth just to farm for the items you just dropped a few minutes before.
Dungeons will also give tons of loot, expect to drop most of it, or have to leave the dungeon early. What's weird is you actually need the items you are dropping, so dungeons will be a very short experience due to inventory. Don't expect to hang out in dungeons for fun.
2) If 1 person dies in your party they start back at the start of the dungeon. The dungeon repops very fast, and there is no way to teleport the person back to your party. If you like challenging content then expect to constantly be fighting your way back to the start just to pickup members that died. Therefore what everyone is pretty much doing is super EZ mode dungeons because the death mechanic is so harsh.
3) Lag at big events, I could get over this because its not very common, but the game is not optimized so lags out completely at major events.
4) Toxic devs will ban you and delete your posts if you even bring up these problems.
Overall this game has some amazingly unique and fun features, I like a lot of what this game is offering, unfortunately the above problems make the game unplayable for me and my friends. They really needed to completely remove inventory from the equation like ESO did, and they would likely have seen a much stronger following. But the devs feel like inventory scarcity is what they want their game based on, so they reap what they sow. I doubt there is much they can do to the game now, as people that would have been interested have already formed their opinions and moved on.
Not sure who they think is begging for an inventory management sim, but apparently the devs found 200 or so on steam. Hope they are happy with that result.
