Ark Survival Evolved for free for a period of time

During the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase it was confirmed that Ark 2 will release in 2023, and be coming to Xbox Game Pass on Day one. We saw Vin Diesel ride a tyrannosaurus, and that's a series of words I never imagined having to type before. To celebrate the announcement, Studio Wildcard are giving away the original Ark: Survival Evolved free for a limited time.

    Not sure I know of many franchises that offer the old one for free when the new one is due to come out next year. I did notice though that many of the DLC are marked as N/A, a few are free and only the Pass is being charged for.

    Ah good I am glad someone posted this...just saw this while on Steam today....The game looks great to me but the download is just too large so I have to pass.....The wifi here is so bad it says it would take 6 days to download.....and it would take up 1/4 of my remaining hard drive.....Hope you guys enjoy it though if you have not played.

    I'm not sure if I'll ever play it but I couldn't pass up "free" for a highly rated game, so I grabbed it :)
