Dungeons and dragons lost me after some progress where i dident understod the crafting and never got further since it was starting to cost money with ther tokens.

I'm not keen on DDO's monetization, but they having been giving free access to a lot of stuff one used to have to pay for in recent years.
There was a code they put out that switched many quests over to free access. I don't know if that is available or fort that matter needed any more. Unfortunately that would have to be something you'd need to look in to if interested.
They also just made almost all the races and classes now available for free, and that just applies automatically for everybody that didn't already have them.
The games does have some performance issues though, so it's not ideal. Still, it's the dungeons and character progression are pretty well done which mainly why I thought it worth the mention.
It's a long time since I've played Neverwinter, so can't say much about it with any certainty of accuracy. When I did play the monetization around there crafting system was pretty heavy. It seemed that way in one of their other games, Star Trek Online, which has a similar system for gaining and using resources.
How a particular player views a game is dependent on both the objective and subjective. While the former applies to all players the latter differs between them all.
Accordingly, while others can tell you what games they feel to be crapola, only you can determine what you feel to be so.

Bah all the games are potato and tomato anyway..half broken and dead games that just remain as stardust and new games that isent or never will be finished...Sometimes i even wonder why we need tp upgrade our pc for these crappy games.
