What's yall favorite Simi MMO game?
Sometimes the massively multi-player isn't needed to have fun as long as it has some kind of multi-player gaming world to link up with people and play with.
My favorite on the list of Simi MMOs would be 7 Days to Die. I had so much fun on the console version and met so many people. I have the PC version, but I don't play it much. Seem so hard to make your own server that people can join. The console version made that so easy to do, that anybody could hop into your world 🌎. But tech limitations limit it to 4 players on consoles. Rumor is the PS5 version will be closer to the PC version.
I also am liking No Man Sky. It has some similar gameplay points. Cool to run into other players.
Same with Destiny.. I like that experience of running into random players in the game world, just like in MMOs.
Simi MMOs seem to do a better job of co concentrating players into smaller areas to make it easier to bump into randoms unlike MMOs in general, which spread people out thin outside of towns and instances.

But we have proved that truism in life that it does not matter what question is asked or what is said; our minds make of words what they want to.
Kind of took the wind out of the OP's sails which was after all just the same perspective about non-MMO, MO games that many have expressed about games like Conan Exiles, FO76 and other MOs with some of the traditional MMO features.
Many of those games are fun and well done but I've always felt that forum posters and writers' cutesy names like "not-so-MMO" etc. for them are totally unnecessary if they just called them MOs instead of "_________ (insert qualifier here) MMOs" or just referred to all of them, MMOs and MOs alike, as "shared world games" like some writers have done.

Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.
