So peeved about this I don't want to bother with Ark 2. I really don't care about Ark 2 anymore. Very obvious pve'ers getting screwed yet again.
Think about it. Spent five years playing the game collecting colorful event dinos. No way to download them into single player mode. No way to breed the colors with future dinos as all events are ending. Pretty sure announcing the end of events is a prelude hint to ending Ark 1. Even if they kept it going who cares there's nothing left to do. Catching colorful dinos was it for a pve'er.
Again gotta beg the developers out there to make a pet breeding game with dragons in it.
Seriously pvp'er who don't care about their pets win. Another game that cared more about pvp'ers than pve'ers. When will it ever end?

I'm not familiar with that game, but I always thought of breeding was a good addition to any MMORPG.
Dragons, eh?
Did you know that Taming Dragons in UO, at the start, was really hard to handle? You had to keep them fed and happy or they'd go wild and attack anyone and everything, and they seemed to go wild all of the time. And they were way too powerful. Those few who survived taming one in the first place usually kept them stored away.
Keeping them happy included issuing commands that they didn't refuse, as well as feeding them every few seconds. It was tricky to keep control of them.
The Devs changed that because they were just too hard to control, but had to weaken them because they were just too powerful as a regular Pet.
But it was something to see a Tamer with their Dragon in those early days of the first real, full scale MMO.
Testy buggers, very contrary to their Tamers, they were.
But could kill Maxed out characters in short order.

"Stay"
"Follow" You'd get a reticle and click on what they were to follow, yourself, other players, another of your pets, any critter.
"Guard" anything, yourself, a friend, a bag on the ground or anything. There was a problem at Kazola's Tavern, the first Player run tavern, where PKers would command their pets to guard the door, and anyone who came out was attacked by the pets. The Devs removed all inanimate objects from "Guarding" for that reason.
"Attack", with a reticle to target whatever.
"Fetch", they'd go pick up whatever you targeted.
"Drop", they'd drop whatever they were carrying.
You could have a string of pets (based on your skill ability) following and/or guarding you, then the next pet, one after another.
Taming was a fun skill, but when they died they were gone and you had to tame another.
Dragons, by the way you could only handle one at a time.
I forget how you stored pets. I think at a corral.
But Taming was a fun skill in UO. I thought WoW was pretty good too, and I'm sure other games have fun Taming.
