I'd like to go back and finish all the stories for all the different primary classes. Well I shall look forward to a graphic update if one is planned.
Which ones have you finished?
I have only finished the Imperial Agent and Jedi Knight.
Oh, then you still quite some stories to play! Play them all, they're all quite something to experience. Some are better, some to worse, but I am going to leave it to the beholder to decide which is which.
I haven't played this game in about 6 years. I left during the Fallen Empire(I think that was the name) expansion. The story just got so weird I couldn't keep up with it. The original class stories was cool.
My son just got into SW over the past year so I got him a SWTOR account for christmas. We'll probably play casually as Jedi together and enjoy the story.
If they invested in the continuation of Class Stories, the return would be, at least, tenfold. Even the reintroduction and cameos of characters like Saresh, Malgus and the like fires people up. What do you think a proper Class Story Expansion would do? People would be jumping out of their skin, me included.
The return, which certainly would not be tenfold, would be for a month at most for 90% of players.
There's a reason no other MMO has copied SWTORs original plan of so many individual stories. It's because it's simply not maintainable when they also have to keep end game players happy, the ones that keep paying subs.

That's ... true. But what have they done to truly keep the players? SWTOR worked the best when it was this curious mix of a single and multi player game.

I cannot recall much about the game. I will have to start from scratch. Might be exciting. My husband used to love the game. May be it might be a good idea to play together.

It is. Characters of different classes even interact not only with each other, but with story too. It is a bloody good story mmoRPG.
Wouldn't accuse SWTOR of being the strongest when it came to class identity mechanically to begin with. Tons of mirrored skills that just had/have a visual reflavor.

Presumably it was to appease those that wanted more diversity in character building options.
