I am curious about this game. I was watching game devs say that this game didn't look like it would run as a MMO on a Youtube video where game devs reacted to upcoming games.
They basically shit all over it once they learned it was MMO.
Oh..can't wait for AMD to come up ( eventually ) with the same good results as DLSS (3). You will then be a happy .. little fan boy and I'm sure you will praise it.
If your eyes can't .. digest the image quality with DLSS 3 , then you have amazing eyes!
Reporter: What's behind Blizzard success, and how do you make your gamers happy? Blizzard Boss: Making gamers happy is not my concern, making money.. yes!

I'd wager good money that this game will be one of the highest profile flops of all of 2023. Almost zero advertisement, no confidence from the developers that it will succeed, development team that needs to beg people to help develop it for free, and "VERY" little information about anything related to how the game works just a few months from it's full launch.
This is going to be the biggest disappointment of 2023, calling it now.
To find an intelligent person in a PUG is not that rare, but to find a PUG made up of "all" intelligent people is one of the rarest phenomenons in the known universe.
tDB is one of those games that advertises as single player, MMO and Co-op. Now maybe that is not to be taken at face value, could "single player" mean solo and co-op mean grouping? Are publishes so frightened of the MMO concept that they have to say a game is for everyone?
No, but it does make you wonder what got tacked on at the last minute? Will the single player experience be as good in its own way as co-op and MMO, that's a tall order.

That's your response to my poking fun at an acronym having negative connotations?
Also, FSR is now pronounced "fuzzier".
C'mon!
We both know you trash Nvidia as best as you can and most of the time you side with AMD for...unknown reasons!

Now that would be a great MMORPG, you have two factions always trying to get one up on the other; Nvidia are the good guys of course.
Intel would like to have a word with you. Make that 2.1 factions or so.
More seriously, Intel is likely to become a serious player in the consumer graphics market a little over a year from now. I'd expect them to still be third place for a while, at least if you exclude integrated graphics, but they'll at least be a serious option outside of the high end rather than just a novelty.
I think this game will look great - but the gameplay will be a mess. It’ll be full of griefers that ruins what could’ve been cool.
Luckily you can play days gone - which is practically the same game

I have always bought their chips since I started with a PC, they would have to go a long way to impress me enough to buy their card though.

Intel GPUs already have come a long way. The days of launching a new part and then discontinuing driver support a few months later are long over. They still have quite a ways to go, but they've been improving rapidly over the last several years.

Ahhh another one trying to make that game that pleases everyone and usually pleases no one.

I usually find one element is good, typically co-op or MMO as that is what reviewers will primarily review and the solo is bad. But that's not always the case it can even be the other way round.
Looks pretty damn good . Wish I could afford a rig and the card but alas I am still surviving on my GTX 1070. Hopefully it can last another year. Almost 8 years now.
What's a DLSS trailer? Is that something like an RTX trailer with all bells and whistles maxed but running on a machine that can't handle it without using DLSS?
Enquiring minds want to know.

No, it's like Witcher 3 where you can run with ray tracing and max settings at 100+ FPS with DLSS 3.
What's hard to understand? 50fps with ray tracing or 100 fps with ray tracing, which would you prefer if you own a 4xxx card? We've finally reached a point thanks to frame generation where we can have high FPS AND ray tracing.

Oh I know it and I use it on the Witcher 3 and other games but that's not the point.
And even games without DLSS support can be run at a lower resolution and use Nvidia upscaling if high FPS is what you want. Their current non-DLSS upscaling tech actually does a pretty good job.
I'm just getting tired of all the BS hype around DLSS 3 as if it were something other than just running a game at lower res and upscaling it to the point that we now have silly titles like "DLSS trailer" for a simple, and highly controlled, trailer.
I use Nvidia cards and DLSS when available and I need to use it but I stop short of being a bloody fanboi of the promotional hype that is just trying to sell you overpriced 4xxx cards.

No it doesn't seem like you understand. It's not just running the game at a lower resolution and upscaling. First of all, DLSS provides AA during it's upscaling which results in often better than native quality at 4k+ resolutions because there is no jagged edges at all.
What you seem to not understand is these "overpriced 4xxx cards" have AI frame generation that gives you twice the frame rate on top of the DLSS 2 performance increase.
Hard to call something overpriced that offers over 2x the frame rate of their previous generation.

Priceless.

Btw, tell me with a straight face that you wouldn't want the extra FPS because of "image quality" : https://wccftech.com/dlss-3-vs-dlss-2-vs-native-comparisons-rtx-4090s-ace/
