Originally unveiled as Project Athia back in 2020, Forspoken tells the story of Frey, a New Yorker who sees themselves sucked into the fantasy world of Athia at the time of its greatest peril. How does Square Enix's latest AAA IP stack up though, and is Athia a world worth jumping down the rabbit hole to explore?

Well at least Jo's got his 'ead on straight.
Honestly I feel bad for Hennig going out of her way to create the Ethos only to be undermined by Gary Whitta's best attempt at emulating Joss Whedon.
Hopefully it will run better on PC but judging by the required specs I'm not holding my breath. Guess it's time to watch some streams and see how it looks.
Hopefully it'll be optimized by then.

Kyleran on yours sincerely
'But there are many. You can play them entirely solo, and even offline. Also, you are wrong by default.'
Ikcin in response to yours sincerely debating whether or not single-player offline MMOs exist...
'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'
Gdemami absolutely not being an armchair developer
Also disappointed in some areas with the graphics of this game. Why the wonky expressions and dated character models? Why don't they match the environment?
Did you say the same for Tomb Raider, Metroid? Probably not. The world in which you inhabit where you avoid anything that offends, scares or pisses you off must be really really tiny. How do you make it through a day? No need to use code words here, we see what you are.
Nvidia and AMD wouldn't have anything to do with triple A games requiring $1000+ graphics cards to run at acceptable frame rates... (sarcasm)
My favourite one from yesterday: "Oh, looks like I/We levelled up!". In a god damn RPG.
I asked a question, dont presume something you don't know. I see what you are...
