I mean, it will soon be 48 hours and you are yet to write an article about literally, the most waited game of 2023.

But hey, you will, today, or .. tomorrow, publish 10 article News, old enough that people will be "meh", in a matter of hours.

Sadly, this site has become a joke lately. I'm here just for the forums.

Imagine someone having your site as No1 News site, only to find out that D4 Open Beta was actually announced 2 days ago, and he's reading it...today (if), lol.

Bah!

Does it really matter if the article comes today instead of over the weekend?  I mean,  the actual open beta is over a month away.  It's not like we are going to miss it.

Something telle me there will be more than a few articles on D4 in the coming weeks.

Wait what? A News is a News for the same day, or max the second. After that it become ..."old news".

Of course it matters when a News website is writing their News.

Point is, back in the days ( not that far away ), this website written News all day.

Can't believe you are actually defending them lol.

"Hey look, D4 Open Beta launched.......5 days ago, but is now finished since 3 days ago" . Btw, this can literally happen lol.

First, it's not an MMORPG, so it's outside of this site's primary focus.  Second, it's just an announcement that there will be a beta at some point in the future, so they can't exactly give a review in progress or even first impressions.  Third, if you think that they're ignoring a story that they should cover, then contact them and say so.

Man, how will I ever cope with only having 5 weeks notice that it's coming instead of 5 weeks + 2 days..

Great to know that needing two extra days of notice on a weekend is more important than our staff taking time off as well.

We aren't killing ourselves on weekends anymore, and to be frank, neither were Suzie and Bill towards the end there too.

Our traffic numbers show this too - by and large, we chalk it up to people actually playing games and our slower output on weekends. Oftentimes I'm working seven days a week, even if I'm not posting something that day on the site, so seeing a post like this one the one weekend I both worked (CoH 3 review) and spent time with my daughter stings a bit.

Steven works more than all of us as he has a day job, plus his video and weekend duties here. So giving him time off is a no-brainer.

Look, we aren't always going to hit the news the day it comes out. No site will—especially smaller sites, with smaller staff and budgets. We'll keep taking weekends slower because it's better for our health, and if we miss something on a Saturday, we'll tackle it Monday. There will be times where we work weekends when we know something is coming, like say a WoW announcement or the likes that make more sense with the "focus" of our site, but like, we're also human and going to take time off.

You're doing fine with content. Think Iceage is trying to bring the new Blizzard work ethic to this site because maybe he works for Blizzard. Ignore it and have a great weekend off :)

One of the reason why mmorpg.com site traffic is going down is .......your website.

It has to be one of the worst I am visiting. The desktop version is....at most decent, but the mobile one is a pain in the ass and that is since you guys released it way back.

Even if the MMORPG genre will have a big come back, this site will likely not see any increase in traffic numbers, unless you drastically change your website and the way of writing articles ( CHRISTINA GONZALEZ seems like a bot or chat-bot, since the writing, for the most part, are confusing ).

Yeah, that's the big change that I find most annoying. ARPGs have always been solo games for me.

I only rarely ever group in D3 to do bounties because they are so time-consuming solo but in some seasons I don't even bother with that.

It's MY dungeon and MY mobs to kill, damn it I don;t want help or spectators :)

And even while they made the classes interesting mechanically, what we are getting are some serious repeats. And from seeing the Necro reveal trailer, I am not convinced that they get Diablo. At all.

Let's just say that I am mostly curious about D4. To see what the reception etc will be.

Except that is not what happened... at all.

They put out a blurb saying they would have Open Beta at the end of NEXT month.

Man, how will I ever cope with only having 5 weeks notice that it's coming instead of 5 weeks + 2 days..

    Oh the horror.

Great to know that needing two extra days of notice on a weekend is more important than our staff taking time off as well.

We aren't killing ourselves on weekends anymore, and to be frank, neither were Suzie and Bill towards the end there too.
Purely anecdotal... but our forum discussions seem to slow down on weekends as well.

So you are a big fan I see...
    ..of what?

I mean, it will soon be 48 hours and you are yet to write an article about literally, the most waited game of 2023.

But hey, you will, today, or .. tomorrow, publish 10 article News, old enough that people will be "meh", in a matter of hours.

Sadly, this site has become a joke lately. I'm here just for the forums.

Imagine someone having your site as No1 News site, only to find out that D4 Open Beta was actually announced 2 days ago, and he's reading it...today (if), lol.

    Bah!
