The building no longer there so it was either resigned or demolished for new building.
The othe image shows the building be Rev Fitness. https://revfitsd.com/ which is now the entire building
SO what is the deal ? SSG and Daybreak seems to be dead like for real and either EG7 have kept in place community managment to keep a front that they have outsourced almost all development.
It would be nice to see some information on where is Daybreak and SSG physical locations are since current address aren't real.

As I said in the other thread, SSG is located a mere 26 minute drive from me in Needham.
However,
Since the pandemic, there have been quite a few companies who have dumped their brick and mortar homes for remote working. A friend of mine who is a programmer worked at a company whose lease was about to be done just as the pandemic started.
They opted not to continue it and at this moment they have opted to have everyone work at home with the caveat that they have rented some space at a "WeWork" in Boston for meetings that need to be in person, a place for people to see each other, etc.
I wouldn't be surprised if SSG decided to go that route as their entire business can be done remotely.
I can't speak for Daybreak. I will say that originally, SSG worked on the same building that housed Turbine, now WB Turbine I guess. They just moved down the hall.

Good chance Daybreak was renting offices at the mailing address originally and when they spun out they got that new office but retained the mailing address. That location seems to be more than just a Rev Fitness center, it's a set of three office/business centers with Avnet and others also occupying them.

And? It's a business center. It's not one business occupying all the offices/buildings. The Innovation Corporate Center where DBG is, has eight buildings in total for it's location.
Also how'd you get Wolters Kluwer at that address? The contact page you linked offers no address itself, however...

it all feels very board room tax exemption strats
I personally prefer having people around, but if a company doesn't need to have an actual office building then it's a HUGE savings in money.
Again, my friend who works as a programmer likes to go in once or twice per week but he doesn't feel it's necessary when people can do all their work and communicate just fine with zoom and slack.
And for programmers and visual artists and sound designers, which SSG probably has a lot of, that's probably fine.

I know work at home as well, but they usually need to head into a building atleast 2 times a month.
It really could depend on the company. Part of the problem is the FED increasing rates (supposedly gonna go down a 'little' by the end of the year, but we'll see.....) so many of these companies can't justify the space anymore until the prices fall. Keep in mind that a default is a very real possibility which will impact the global economy if that happens. Covid honestly flipped the world upside down and even though its not a 'thing' in many places, the impact it has had still remains (like forcing people to change careers or just outright choosing other careers that accommodate them more, companies seeing they can still operate at the same level with less overhead, etc).

According to this MMOBomb article, and several I've seen before. EG7 owns both SSG and Daybreak. I've seen SSG referred to as a Daybreak subsidiary, but have never seen anything that proved so. I have seen that EG7 owns them both though.
Another little tidbit, Sony kept 10% stake in Daybreak. I'm not sure if they have every sold it off or not. They were a bit dishonest about that because they definitely implied that they sold off their holdings, and apparently just retaining 10% was enough to slip under the "liar liar pants on fire" radar. Sony has their fingers in everything. lol

I am not in gaming (I am in higher ed) and the same for us. We work from home 1-2 days a week and some offices more than that. For a lot of private businesses, they learned how much they can save on infrastructure, resources, leases, etc... by decentralizing space. I have a good friend who lives in GA and works for a college in Missouri and another who teaches fully online from GA at a college in Kansas.
I follow some voice actors who do all of their work now from home unless they need mo-cap.
Covid changed a lot of things but I think one of its most lingering impacts will be on the structure of work. It changed my field for sure.
Completely agree. A friend of mine works for MIT and she goes in once per month. And technically doesn't have to go in.

So it looks like the shuttered in 2020 at that location do to covid.

The fiction that Daybreak was only a publisher for SSG came to an end when EG7 did it's buy out.
I've seen articles including one's from EG7 on their quarterly reports that say SSG is just a subsidiary of Daybreak.
Yes Daybreak still hasn't updated it's website to show that and you'll find no mentions of SSG, DDO or LotRO on it!
Their Austin Studio is also shuttered. I think all of these updates are coming from China at this point. To have this many people working from home implementing server side patches, seems like a stretch to me.
Games need to be made in buildings where developers can converse and properly show each other things. It really explains the drop in quality from games these days if they're all working from home still. I would demand everyone in the office or they'd be let go....
Wtf nope developers dont need to show each other stuff in person.
Thats when business people get involved, who dont understand programming. Or the press.
Programmers can just send each other code. Thats how Linux was made, for example. No need for presentation in person, thats riddiculous.
Also the idea that games are made by programmers is also quite absurd. A regular mainstream game may have five programmers, tops, but easily 200 artists who produce scripts, characters, plots, graphic surfaces and other graphic data, animations, sounds, etc.
