Yeah, just caught off a bit by the headline.

I just hope they've fine-tuned/fixed the purge mechanics. 'cause they were ridiculously broken last time I played.

I was only building in one spot, while others in my clan were building all over the map, and not just small little structures, but significant builds, with crafting stations, thralls, the whole kaboodle.

Despite this, my location was hit 3 times in a row. The third time, for whatever reason, it wouldn't let me place the palisades I'd crafted so I'd be prepared "just in case". So there was no protection besides myself, one other person, and my pets.

The first wave was at least 20 attackers and I was killed. When I clicked to respawn at the bed in that area, it put me down in the desert where you first spawn in as a new character instead.

I logged out. Haven't bothered playing since.
