Go, Valve! Gambling with the rules is not a good idea.

    Oh no! The horror!

Couldn't happen in the Web3CryptoMetaverse utopia 'cause no one will bend any rules there.

$2 million, you say?  That's all?  Everyone knows that if it were a real crypto scheme, it would be a lot more than $2 million that vanished.  And maybe also from people who didn't deserve to have it gone.

So it was the traders dealing with known gambling sites allegedly being used to money launder via cryptocurrency that drew Valve's ire, not the act of skin trading apparently.

    That tracks....

Fascinating, the above post is a virtual rewording of @Quizzical a couple of posts up. Apparently some form of LLM bot, but for what purpose does it do this?

It looks like it's designed to include spam links to some of its posts, making it harder to detect than a bot that would include spam links to all of its posts.

Do you recall there used to be a poster that would come here and reword and post threads that he took from Reddit. Got to wonder whether that was an early model of the AI.

So who are you calling out as a bot Quizzical or Janebutt, or both?

Now wait, if those skins are stored on blockchain they still belong to the owner, correct?

    Oh wait...

Only $2 million? That seems like a relatively small amount for a supposed crypto scheme. Typically, if it were a genuine fraudulent operation, the sum of money that disappeared would be significantly higher. Moreover, it's unfortunate that such schemes often impact innocent individuals who shouldn't have had their funds vanish in the first place.

Interesting, the above post is a minor rewording of @Quizzical a few posts earlier. Apparently some form of automation.  I wonder why?

Robots make good antagonists in video games because they can be disguised as humans and are more than meets the eye.  Yes?

That’s a real bummer that the CS skin traders are getting banned! I mean, locking away $2 million in skins is just insane. It's tough to see so many people lose their hard-earned investments like that. I’ve always thought trading skins was a bit of a gamble, but I didn’t expect it to blow up like this. I hope those traders can figure something out and get their stuff back. If you're still interested in skins, some alternatives might be worth checking out. Plenty of cool skins are still available, like the M4A1-S, which you can find on sites like skin.land. Just be careful with your trades; it’s a wild world out there!
