    So, they are really going to try and advertise Diablo 4 by coupling it with the most hated game in the series? I can see the tone of that stream being swiftly directed toward the toilet.

    It's certainly a divisive choice for some, but they are both Diablo games and they are running cross-promotion of 4 in Immortal. Not to mention Immortal is an ongoing revenue stream.

    I can't even begin to care about a new class for Immoral.

    Now Diablo 4 needs a holy class. And instead of the more typical Paladin, Crusader, and Monk, I'd like to propose an Inquisitor, combining the smiting abilities of the paladin with the brawling abilities of the monk, all wrapped into a grittier package fitting of the universe.

    I'd love to see the analytical dropoff going from D4 to DI.

    Not sure what you mean by this, but d4 has already made more money then diablo immortal has over a full year. Or do you mean the stream numbers? Diablo Immortal is first in that case.

    Pretty sure they mean that, how many people will watch the segment for Immortal versus watching for D4.

    Immortal going first likely helps curb the amount that would be tuning out, though that may just make them join the stream later too.

    I will not be watching either half of the stream live. I'll wait for the synopsis and call it good. From my point of view, they contain way more marketing than meat and I just don't have the patience to sit through it. I do want to read through the important points though.
    Bring back the Naked Chicken Chalupa!

    I just want season 1 to start so that we can get a start date for D3 season 29. It's clear that the last new D3 season is being delayed to accommodate D4.

    I won't watch the D4 stream but I am interested in the highlights. I have been waiting for them to announce major improvements to endgame or itemization. The game as it exists just doesn't offer a tasty enough carrot to justify the mediocre combat, low mob density and lackluster items.

    For another, just me personally, I have a few other games with season ladders that I want to play around that and it's going to be tight. Right now, I'm trying to finish up the event in Disney Dreamlight Valley this week. My other super casual sim, Farm Together, is launching a 2 week event this next weekend as well. WH40K Inquisitor is launching their new season and class on Xbox consoles this coming Friday. With the D4 season coming up shortly and then D3 a bit after, It's like fomo calendar chaos. Please, God, just don't let No Man's Sky launch another expedition before October. Pleeeaaaaaase. :lol:

    They are rerolling seasons. This coming one will be the last unique season. After that, it will be recycled ones.

    The new class for Immortal is probably the Blood Knight, which was datamined during the Alpha.

    Perhaps I'm biased because I haven't experienced most of them/gotten their rewards, but I for one am happy with that. The main purpose of a season is to give people a new chance to roll a hardcore character and race to the top.
    It won't be quite the same as playing the original because along with seasons they have worked and reworked a lot of the items, sets, and skills so that everyone is much more powerful now than even 2 or 3 years ago.

    This current season, which is excellent by the way, had such a huge power boost from the "altar" seasonal theme that many, many players soloed GR 150 for the first time.

    I played Wiz, Monk, and DH, and especially my Wiz with the newly reworked Tal Rasha set was ridiculously OP. I didn't do 150 myself because that still takes a certain amount of grinding paragon and gems to augment ancient gear and I only enjoy the grind up to a point. Still, I did 130 pretty easily with less than 1000 paragon and only a couple of augments. The power creep in D3 is real :)
