New World's latest Forged in Aeternum dev video is audio-focused, which is fitting given the ongoing Medleyfaire Festival in Aeternum right now. In the nearly twenty-minute long video, the MMO's audio team talks about creating music that helps tell the story, as well as a little throat singing in the mix.

Get rid of the wards allrdy... people might do higher mutations then... needing sets per weapons and changing the gems is silly.

I assume all the data loss has been sorted otherwise they would have pushed this article back as fans would be thinking "what game planet are they on"? Its a good article, music is super important but it will taste like ashes if you still have loses not sorted out.

I'd respectfully disagree on the importance of music in games. In fact, when I played NW, I was actually far better* playing my instrument when I had my speakers turned off.

    * defining "better" as more accurate to the required button presses to execute perfect renditions so I could get the max buff. (I thought all of the player music was awful to listen to so I'd typically forget to turn my speakers back on until in dungeons where I'd need to hear boss call outs)
