I guess I am lucky. I am over level 50 now and still not experienced any sort of game breaking bug. Sure I have had some and most were small things - graphical in nature, NPC movement, etc...
My major complaint now is NGplus . I have discovered several things that do not function well or are unavailable in NG+ depending on your choices when you start it. It does not break anything but some things become inaccessible (like Skyrim did too). Its frustrating but the things I am referring to are quests and NPCs that cannot be accessed or stories continued. I am being vague due to spoilers.
So I started over, taking my time, and enjoying the story. I am not going to rush through at all and probably will not do NG+ again.
Sounds like a good heads up, thanks for sharing.
But you could have played 7D2D with us and saved yourself any NG+ aggravation.
Of course, you would have traded it for a whole bunch of alpha 21 aggravation ...

Isn't that only if you choose the "Skip" the Main story option in NG+? If you choose to do the Main Story again, shouldn't all quests + side quests be available as usual? It's only from NG+2 onwards, that you might start to encounter "certain" things differently......

Yes, I believe so. I knew the stuff one would lose period like credits, ships, outposts, etc... so I was prepared for that. I THINK most of my issues would be solved from having replayed the main quest but I am unable to verify it. I did choose to skip it and I think thats the issue but I do not know for sure.
I truly do not mind even if its a bit frustrating. I learned so much the first time, the first few hours have been almost like a new game.
I mean... it makes sense. If you skip the main story in NG+, then all Main story quests + side quests that have specific main story quest completion as pre-requisite, won't be available. Though, all companion loyalty quests should still be available, since they only have satisfaction level as requirement. So doing quests that makes your companion happy is all that is required. Plus all other side quests.
You could have just finished/rushed that NG+ and then in your next NG+ you could have just start the Main Story again and everything would be like a normal playthrough again with everything available. Unless a "certain" other thing happens in your next NG+, but then you just reload your last save to load a new NG+ until it's "normal".
edit: I didn't build this by the way. I can see how the post might imply it. I belong to the sub and see a ton of really nice ships. The EVE fans in the thread liked this one, so I thought I'd share.
Ship building isn't directly connected to crafting. Crafting is about weapon and suit mods and consumables.
Ship building is just a money and skill thing. The ship builder UI is accessed at various starports and space stations that have a shipyard and contains different pieces that can be assembled to improve or customize your ship.
Existing ships can be customized or built from scratch. The quality of parts available depends on the shipyard and the character's ship building skill. Parts are purchased with credits.
