This is like printing money, you take a great old game and just update the graphics, what went wrong? I only buy such "new" games if I never played the first iteration, so no skin of my nose but I am sure many will be disappointed.

You say that, but graphics account for something like 80% of a games dev budget on an average game, so even if they are "only" updating the graphics, that's still a large cost.

I'm not really disappointed personally, I played the shit out of KOTOR 1 & 2 back in the day but they've not aged well. The combat is absolutely awful (it was back then too) and the worlds are pretty small by modern standards.

The main reason I'd be curious to see the remakes is simply that, for some reason, there have been exceedingly few RPGs set in the Star Wars universe. The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are KOTOR1&2, SWG and SWTOR. I'm sure there have been a few others, but considering how many 100s of SW games there have been, the RPG genre has missed out.
