I'm gonna be totally real with you, dude, since I play NFT games:
even if that game (was) and NFT game and they converted it to web2, it'd still be bad. all of those NFT games are exponentially more expensive and lackluster than regular games. but furthermore, they have problems purposely implemented into the design, that monetization is imposed upon you to fix. so why even waste your time?
There is no hope for this genre of gameplay. Paying people to play a game with crypto they can turn into real money is something I can support. I cannot support a SIM's online graphics artist NFT cash shop to satiate the demented desires of an artist whose heart belongs to freeport in an Everquest fantasy. The problem with NFT games is the gas fees.
Legend of Ymir aims to be a northern European reinterpretation of the story of Legend of MIR depicted in a fantasy setting. The game intends to utilize the same features that made the previous series so popular, which includes pvp-based gameplay. Not only will Legend of Ymir make use of Unreal Engine 5, but similar to their most recent game in the MIR series, MIR4, WEMADE intends to also utilize NFT’s which is expected to be leveraged in a Play 2 Earn capacity.
If Korea can pull off a game to pay players for loyalty and pay their bills at the same time, Korea wins at life. That hurt me to say.
