I navigated to Microsoft gaming, (
Microsoft News (msn.com), and scrolled down a bit. I couldn't believe what I was looking at. A list of FRVR games. There games like chess, minecraft, basketball, etc, ect...
In my distress, I googled FVFR and found this website,
https://frvr.com, and clicked on it. It says their free online games. I can't find anywhere in this website what FRVR stands for. It doesn't seem to be an acronym for anything.
I google FRVR. I find these definitions.
FRVR can stand for different things depending on the context. It can mean Free Roam Virtual Reality or Functional Reactive Virtual Reality1.
It can also be an abbreviation for Fox Valley and Western Limited2.
My heart is broken. Does no one have respect for their elders anymore? I seriously thought FRVR stood for Fantasy Realm vs Realm. I was actually kind of excited. Then just confused. They are all free games. Who allowed this to happen? Who committed copyright sacrilege against an entire genre? RVR is never free. It's a sacrifice of dedicated players who spend not only hard-earned money to access the game but days fighting for virtual territories. How on earth could Microsoft offend the players who dedicated their lives to build this industry. I demand Microsoft brand a new trademark for free online games. How dare Microsoft destroy the memories of soldiers who died for their cause. I demand an apology.
