Haven't enjoyed a game this much in a long time. Picked it up about 2 weeks ago and already have 100 hours into it. Ready for launch!

While this game was better than Diablo 4, it's far weaker than most other ARPG I've played and that are on the market. Play Path of Exile, Grim Dawn, D2R or any other number of better ARPG.

I've been watching a fair number of videos about it. The game seems decent and has some interesting class ideas. That some ARPGs may be better isn't a limiting factor to me. I have and enjoy several. Accordingly I may pick it up but have not as yet decided.

Sadly the trading and a lot of the game mechanics still don't work right and end game is super weak.

I have owned this game for years. It's better than Diablo 4 for now...

There is something visually about it that I just don't like. The end game gets boring really fast as well. It has no pay to win which is a plus.

I hope it makes a ton of money. The devs are good, but they need help and that costs alot of money. The community is great.

Runemaster is the best designed class in an arpg I've ever played and I've been knee deep in the genre for 30 years.

This already puts it heads and tails above the rest of the popular games in the genre.

One of the best ARPG's ever made IMO. I bought the game years ago when it was a shell of what it currently is. It had so much promise. It took them awhile but what they have created is such a bitch slap in the face to Blizzard it almost makes me pity the people who work for Blizzard. These guys, with an incredibly small team and budget, have made a game so much deeper and well thought out than D4 and D3 combined. They have hit the perfect middle that so many games in this genre should strive for. Easy to pickup and learn but still complex and customizable enough to keep theory crafters active for a long time. D3 and D4 were too shallow and weak in everything but production values and cinematics. POE is SO complex to a new player it's daunting and chases many of them off. This is the perfect blend that also happens to have the best crafting in any ARPG hell maybe any game I've ever played. .

While Grim Dawn currently is still the best ARPG ever made to me and Last Epoch is a close second, in a year or so Last Epoch will likely surpass it at least until Grim Dawn 2 comes out. The only downside to the game is the production values (cinematics, graphics, story, etc) not being up to D4 or even POE at this point. But this was a small team with a little budget, all that can still come in the future if this really gets popular. Well worth your money, you'll get a great game, and support a really good group of developers. With this being their first game I can't wait to see where they keep taking it and with them already selling 1 million copies the future looks bright.

They really take the good from D4 and PoE. I always felt like in PoE if you were somewhat new and didn't follow a great build you might not be able to do all of the content. On top of that it's just so complex.

Last Epoch really seems to aim for fun while also giving you a ton of options. It seems like any build you make is capable of the current end game. So there's a lot of room to experiment, and you're encouraged to do so! I do think the end game content needs work, but they have a solid foundation already.

In 30 years have you only played 3 ARPG, because it sure sounds like it.

I played about 150 hours last year but stopped to wait for release.  I think most will be quite happy with the game at launch.  And those that need a LOT more content and systems still have POE.

They still have a long way to go in terms of endgame, but I should get a couple hundred hours out of the first season just trying different masteries.

I'm very excited for release, and hopefully won't be forced to play offline due to server issues ala Wolcen.

It's good, but the replay value is limited. The end game is pretty pathetic and the campaign is mid at best.

There are some great classes, even though the complex skill tree still doesn't amount to more than a handful of viable end game builds, which makes all those other options pointless. I'm not a fan of overly complex trees where most of it is fluff and half the battle is figuring how its supposed to work. The game asks a lot there but the content and end game don't support the effort required.

The combat is very good and satisfying for the builds that do work well.

One of the core issues the game shares with D4 though, is how unexciting and boring the loot is. ARPGs are looters. Make loot exciting or all the other stuff starts to get boring after a few runs through.

It looks like zoomer ARPG. I guess it appeals to whoever likes this style of gameplay.

I have over 500 hours in the game which I played over several years since it's EA launch. I will say that running monoliths as an endgame gets pretty old. Personally once I get to the empowered monoliths and can finish them comfortably with whatever build I'm playing I usually take a break and play something else eventually coming back. I've yet to get a character past 88 I think due to this. Those last levels are just very slow and there's nothing hugely compelling waiting for you by getting to level cap of 100. However, unlike D4 there's 15 classes to play and a lot of diversity of builds within those classes. That's what keeps me coming back is the replay value is pretty solid. It's the same reason I have as many hours as I do in Grim Dawn. I have a full page of alts both in offline and online mode. I still want to try out the new classes as well as play with some of the classes like the primalist which got one of it's primary attack skills completely reworked. The paladin's heal also finally got a skill tree, so still more to try out.

Combat's solid, performance is solid, and not too many bugs. Solid entry for an indy studio, but they're going to need to finish out the main story as well as come up with something more interesting than grinding monoliths for end game for this to be considered great.

I am so bad at studios names I skimmed the title then saw Mcrippins post and thought lets get this on my wishlist; but there is no game called Eleventh Hour...oh its Last Epoch, yeah that's on the Wishlist. :D
