An in-person event in Amsterdam unveiled 10th anniversary celebration of The Elder Scrolls Online with in-game, real-life, and platform-specific treats.
well that's a terrible roadmap... it's just a bunch of basic updates nothing special.
and ofcourse the expansion that adds the same stuff any other expansion adds

It includes the next expansion with scribing which is new to ESO, an update to the housing system, an update to the PvP system, three live events in various parts of the world, and a global reveal of updates 45-48. It is actually a fair bit.
I am excited to see what the year holds. I just returned after a 3 year hiatus (not played since Skyrim expansion). The game is fun and what I like the most is I have options. Dailies, events, world events, dolmens, leveling companions, main story, side quests, scrying, housing, etc... I can play the way I want. Of course, lots of dailies right now with the anniversary event. ESO has had a formula and stuck with it and $2 billion in 10 years is not bad.
I find ESO reliably entertaining. It is a bit costly though compared to some other options if you keep up with expansions and opt in to the subscription.

I totally understand the author's grilled cheese comment.

That's my big problem with the game
