Well you don't need a vehicle because the jet pack is basically that. It lets you hover at about 5 feet off the deck at high rates of speed, climb steep grades, and jump off high ledges and gently descend to a safe landing. Even with the jetpack it becomes painfully obvious how small the map is. If they added a vehicle that was even faster than the jet pack there would be no need for the teleporter module. Unless they plan on tripling the size of the map there's no need for a vehicle.

It's a fun game but pretty simplistic. Graphics make it look like someone's highschool computer science project. However it's very stable and no major bugs I can think of which is an accomplishment in this age of releasing half baked games. I enjoy playing it and don't regret the purchase.

Planet Crafter? Think more like biome crafter, where small inside machines affect the whole system.

It suffers from Unity's inability to keep things from clipping. Other than that, I haven't experienced any annoying bugs.

Building is janky, and you'll find that out when you try to build support platforms with some realism. Satisfactory does a much better job with this. Also a lot of equipment are not allowed on platforms, and you will need flat ground for them.

It's currently on sale. It's not a bad buy, and totally chill game with no violence. If you like building, tech progression and exploration, then you might like this game.

I played a demo of a very early version of this game a while ago. It looks like it has progressed a lot and come a long ways.

They don't have plans of porting their game to Xbox at this time, which I understand, but that's where I'm doing 95% of my gaming right now.

Lightyear Frontier is similar, and can be played on Steam and Xbox. It is also an exploration crafting-builder with resource gathering and farming, and no combat. It's still in development and can be tried on GamePass.

Personally, I don't think either game is worth the $25 price tag they ask. They aren't very deep, but they are chill and relaxing with a bit of stuff to do. They are definitely for the self-directed type of gamer who makes their own goals. Both are great candidates for GamePass, in my opinion, because they do bring value but are harder for me to justify at the price.
