Citadel Studios' Legends of Aria Classic, which is a "return to our...ruleset of 2019" will launch in May, after a series of overhauls, pivot to pay to earn, then spinning off Classic.

    Crap like this is getting a 'classic' version but the skeleton team for FF11 wont put out a damn classic version or at the very least a level 75 locked server. Ngl, starting to get pissed off.

    This game has been DOA multiple times now...and this one will be no different. They're just trying to make something...anything...off of what they purchased years ago. It was terrible then, it became even worse with blockchain, and now it will going back to be just terrible again only 5 years later.

    Wont lie I bought into this when it was in crowd funding and still called shards. Idk it had potential but just didnt cut it i guess.

    Lost its way when it went from player created Shards to… a poor MMORPG…

    Square Enix or Joshi P is the reason. Joshi P does not want to continue development of FFXI nor have a classic server. His team is managing FFXI and from what I gather from the great wine- It seems that he is not a fan of the MMO. Its really sad, considering that FFXI is 100x a better game then 14.
