Blizzard has decided to cancel BlizzCon this year but says that they have more in store for fans of their games to celebrate all that is Blizzard.

Well, no excitement for the War Within, D4 is a flop so there will be no buzz for an expansion. Starcraft is not moving. Blizzard is being their same old lame self. What a way to start the Microlizzard reign off right.

Yeah, I think something is different this time and that's why the convention that is known to be held at a financial loss will not be conducted this year.

Not all fans may be aware that they want this, but what WoW fans really need and want, is World of Warcraft 2. Not endless expansions where they barely improve the game, and inadvertently take away what was once loved about it. Not endless expansions where there is no point for new players to join in, but an entirely new WoW game. Keep the old retail servers running for those that want them, keep making them pay subs to play, but make a 2024+ new game, from a new engine, all new everything, no carry over, and if they do it right without P2W or any other non-traditional MMORPG aspects, they will truly recover as a company.

They are probably getting tired of being crapped on by parody video creators like Unscripted.

Also the whole Portal Pass fiasco could very well be a legitimate reason to why they aren't doing it.
