    Only if you are going to play the multiplayer mode. Otherwise you won't need PSN to play the single player campaign.

    PSN means they also provide the servers for multiplayer right? Definitely a question of costs.

    I think it might be more a regional approach, 'we have a country here that would make good revenue but how many countries in the region of the servers are decent as well'? So I doubt they have management costs outside of Brittain and Germany to service the rest of Western Europe.
