Can you duel in Final fantasy XI???

in Final Fantasy XI

The ultimate part that I always look for in an MMORPG is dueling, people killing, but can you fight eachother in Final XI?

I am a DeathKnight who didn't die in battle. I died because I sliped on a banana lip and fell over...

    i think all the pvp functions were going to be added either in a later patch, or in another expansion

    It's official that it is coded into the software, but they have not found a way to implement it into the storyline. When that does happen, though, it's gonna be really cool I suspect.
