I assume there is no headache with these like so many get with VR headsets?

There shouldn't be! The way the image presents is more straightforward and doesn't have 3D in the same way as traditional VR.

This is really cool. For under 1k you could have a full set up for PC and iPhone 15. I think it would be cool for visual novel games where you have to do lots of reading, yet you want to be comfortable.

I have been looking at various ways of getting off the "hotseat" so looking at this now as well.

When it comes to XR glasses, they're really a good deal. You just have to factor in the cost of the dock if your PC (GPU) doesn't have a USB-C for DP out.

I knew some people had motion sickness, due to movement in game etc, with VR hmd's but headaches?  That a first time I hear hmd are giving peeps headaches watching movies.

I love watching movies on my quest 2 is amazeballs, I use big screen and the "grand cinema" environment, when I want that big screen theatre feel, in fact I watched Abigail 2024  2160p last night.

It's pretty neat I can lie down and tilt the screen so it's nice and centered even when on my back looking up at the ceiling and you can even move around to the different theatre seats like at a real cinema to get closer or further or more left or right of the screen etc

These look interesting but kind of expensive to buy without trying first and I am not sure it can give you the same immersive feel as a HMD but I can see the appeal of using this while doing dishes or house chores etc with the see through function.

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
