An opportunity missed

I have thought for many years that an MMO in the Matrix world would be a great idea. 

We had the matrix online but that was a complete mess, it had something but not quite enough, has had a resurrection tried on a private server but didn't really come off.

I'm sure there is plenty of room for content and we could do with a sci-fi MMO.
