I'm not a huge fan of the color palette and some of the creatures are a bit too fantastic for me; however, instead of going on hype I'm largely interested in the developer
Hello Games and the fact they're not a bunch of pansies who quit on a vision when things get tough. They do an incredible amount of work with a small team, they deliver what they promise, and they can roll all the lessons learned in No Man's Sky into this new title.
I've some hesitation as to whether or not the game will be to my tastes; however, I've no doubt they're deliver which is more than can be said for most.

Light No Fire Announcement Trailer (youtube.com)At the very least this one is worth watching, because dollar for dollar these guys deliver excellent value.

I sent them a certified letter with three credit card numbers for them to use, begging them to buy it all when available.
I need to be more like you.
They haven't released very much information yet. It's "multiplayer" on one world. Does that mean it is instanced? All players (all 10,000) in one instance? Is it like NMS where all players play in the same universe but only 32 at any one time together?
I think they should use the multi-biome procedural generation for all planets in NMS and just release this part as an unpaid DLC
They seem to be unique in the gaming industry; a small team makes a game with no cash shop, no P2W, no paid DLC's, everything is free after buying the game once. And lots of updates, all free.
