Yep, the game is pretty awesome in my opinion. Really nails the look, feel, and sound of the WH40k IP. The engine is pretty well optimized as I'm playing on an old 2080 RTX TI and it plays smooth and looks fantastic at 2k resolution. Gameplay is quite challenging. I'm playing on normal and have died quite a few times, although I don't consider myself an elite gamer. It definitely rewards skillful playing as depending on your ability to parry, dodge, shoot, and use terrain and cover to your advantage means the difference between walking through an encounter largely unscathed or absolutely wrecked and on a sliver of health left. It's much better than the original game by miles, and I loved the original. A worthy sequel for sure. I haven't hit too many bugs other than the obvious swarms of Tyrranids. You can do the whole campaign co-op. Playing with my son. Great times. Looking forward to tonight (Friday) eradicating xenos filth with my son. FOR THE EMPEROR!
Lol just laughing at how EVERY game has an early access period now. What makes it funnier is that SE is probably the only one who does it more fair by just rolling the EA period into pre-ordering the game (someone can correct me if I'm wrong if other games do that too).

Yep. Even if you deduct the Season Pass, which costs on average 10-15 bucks, which is just some cosmetics in this instance, you still pay 20 bucks extra to play 4 days earlier. Total rip-off. No matter how you slice it.

I totally agree it is too bad 40k is like crack to me heh. I paint the models and read the books.

That being said it is always nice to get an actual good Warhammer game since it seems they would sell that lisence to a turtle with one eye and a Apple II.

That season pass is for the first 4 seasons which goes through 2025.
I need a better gfx for this. Besides, the length and options for singleplayer / pve are quite disappointing. I mostly gave up on multiplayer. With that said, I am eventually going to play this. It's just not a priority.

Which is just some cosmetics. Nothing to write home about.
In the meantime, Multiplayer is a total mess. Even the most diehard WH40K fans are worried about the state of the game and fear for the longevity of this game.
Both the campaign and the multiplayer are absolute barebones, with only few linear maps. This game has no longevity whatsoever.
This game will be dead by the end of the month. This just yet another release to please shareholders, not gamers.
I myself, also a WH40K fan, will wait until this game is on a heavy discount and see if it's still has some population by then.
I had a pre-order on the Standard edition, but after all the reports of the current state of the game, I refunded it last night.

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
