Fntastic, which attempted a comeback after The Day Before flamed out at launch, has buried its Escape Factory Kickstarter campaign and is trying again with a new game in the works, an "action-horror prop hunt game called ITEMS!".

    There's really only one thing that could revive their reputation. They need to fund their own game, launch it, and have it actually be good. But they're not even trying to go that route.

    No one should give these guys a penny. In fact, there should probably be some kind of anti-fraud laws preventing people who have already cheated customers and lied from doing it again. Maybe it doesn't count if it's a video game.

    I bet they get tax credits or state reimbursement for failures. This went from comical to just sad real fast.
