Okay well, it should technically be shipped tomorrow and be in stores Wednesday.  But it wouldn't hurt the check early. e.e

It depends on where you are located actually. If you are near an EBGAMES that is very close to one of there shipping centers (?) that store will likely get the game on the 28th. Also, depending on the demand of the game, you may even get it very late on the 28th if you preordered it. My friend ordered Wind Waker which was supposed to be out on the 26th of some month, many angry customers were not happy but were reassured when they were explained they would be shipped a copy around 7:00 P.M.

In short, hell yeah I'm excited, get me by damn pre-order EB =P

I received SWG in the male ON the day of shipment from EBgames. So I'm hoping the same thing will happen with FFXI 8)

I didn't actually do this, but will give you an idea of how exited I am:
-Have been playing Final Fantasy 1 through 10 over and over since march.
-Haven't slept in 4 days
-I've been munching on a ball of lettuce at my computer chair for the past week watching the time count down to Tuesday 2pm.
-The next time i will get out of my chair it to greet the mail man at the door, take the box, and give him a great big old monkey hug. Then i will pass out from exitement, then slowly crawl to my computer and stare at the box for a few hours.
-I will strip naked then begin installing FFXI while singing undistinguishable words of joy.
-Will power game non-stop for 3 years or until it kills me!

I went back to check up on my order yesterday, and it changed from the 28'th to delivery on the 30th.

It's too bad I'm in Australia, I have no other choice but wait at least 1 more week for the game to be shipped here.

DON'T FORGET to put aside an extra $20 for the strat guide. Yeah it's probabably outdated, but it usually has more helpful info than the instruction booklet. PFFT, NEVERMIND>... they just bumped the goddamn date up to the 3/4th. That's kinda retarded.... <shakes head and fires up printer> if you want anything done right...

I live in the UK and am getting it imported (hear it doesn't come out here until march 04 )

so I'll have to wait just a little longer to get mine, can't wait though

Well i dunno about all this talk about delays an stuff, but earlier this mornin i called my local EB an the guy there told me that it'll be out tomorrow like always. So i would hope that the guys ain't a durmmm'ded lier cause if it IS delayed.. well lets just say i'll be a SAAAAAADDDDD Panda  T_T
