Got a beta invite. Verification process does not work.

I got a beta invite to DDO. The verification process does not work. Anyone else who got an invite have this problem?

    For some reason at the final stage of verification it keeps saying DDO alpha instead of DDO beta.

    I think its putting me in the wrong queues.

    It really sucks getting a beta invite and then something like this goes wrong.

    I have the exact same problem as you... Error -1 or something like that

    guess I might try tomorrow or something...

    I finally got a response after I sent an email to complaints@turbine.com.

    If you are having the same problem as I stated, copy your entire original beta email and send it to complaints@turbine.com and let them know what is happening.

    lucky i wish i had a beta invite but i just registered to ddo 2 days ago so im sure im at the bottom of the piles somewhere for an invite

       K thanks, I just sent an email to there...Are u sure it's complaints@turbine.com and not betasupport@turbine.com ?

    Darkmist,

    I sent an email to both of those address, the complaints one is the only one I have heard back from.

    From there on out I do not know what if anything they will do for us.

    I just hope they fix the accounts.

    It sounds like they may be getting hammered.

    Give it a day or two to calm down and it will probably be good.

    Anyone with verification problems have succuess yet? I've heard people still can't get in after being accepted.

    I was accepted to beta but the verification email does not work properly. It is trying to verify me for the alpha and not the beta. I think the problem lies in when people tried to sign in, the alpha ended on the 2nd I believe and the beta started on the third.

    They said in the email you could login on the 2nd but I think that was not true. I am not sure 100% but I believe those of us trying to do the verification on the 2nd were somehow shoved into the end of the alpha queue.

    I have sent multiple emails to turbine at this point and have recieved no real assitance.

    Either they are trying to sort this out for a massive number of people, my guess being in the thousands. Or they simply have enough testers and do not care about the rest. I would hope it is the former and not the latter.

    Anyway I will keep waiting and just play something else in the meantime. Dark and Light should be launched soon.

    Hopefully they sort it out. Meanwhile though, waiting on www.darkandlight.com :)

    I'm in the same boat as everyone else... got a beta invite, but can't get past the billing system error. Frustrating to say the least. After sending a few e-mails to the support guys, I finally got a response today. It said that the issue resolved itself for some users, and that I should keep trying to log in. Gee, thanks for the help guys...

    So, it took a week and a half to get a response, and when I do, it's useless - even though they've got the error code, message and url of the problem. Egh... hope this isn't a sign of things to come with DDO.

    I got a message saying they are working on it.

    My thought is this. Those of us who tried to login the day the email got out are the ones who got screwed. You guys/gals who have this problem did you try to create the account on the 2nd when the email came out or the third when the offical beta started.

    I think what happen to people who logged in on the 2nd is that it shoved us into some alpha queue, when it was supposed to be the beta. And since alpha is over, we cannot do anything.

    I do not think this is an issue which will "sort itself out".

    Currently I am waiting for for the stress test server to come back up....

    Hope they fix something soon, customer service for MMORPGS has never been good.

    I was issued a new beta account today. Hope the rest of you get in.

    If you are sending them an email at betasupport@turbine.com , be as detailed as possible.

     

    I logged every link and screen that gave me errors.

    At least you guys got beta invites! I was really hopeing to be able to join... but it doesn't look like it'll be happening anytime soon.
