To upload and apply an Avatar picture do the following:
1) Access Your Account Settings by pressing the green button on the top-right corner of the webpage, adjacent to Logout, and a new page will load.
2) Under the Account Setting Pages menu to the right of the webpage, select Avatar Settings and a new page will load.
3) Under Upload A New Avatar Image sub-section press Browse... and select the Avatar Image you wish to upload. Read the red text as it specifies the restrictions for the image. Please note that avatars which violate our Rules of Conduct are not permitted, so choose a nice picture. If you wish, fill out "Enter Friendly Name" if you want an easily recognizable name for it.
If successfully uploaded, the file should now be under Your Current Avatar Images. Remember, there is a maximum of five images you may store.
4) Under the Account Setting Pages menu to the right of the webpage, select User Profile Settings and a new page will load.
5) Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see the Avatar setting just below your optional Signature. Select the image you uploaded under the drop-down menu (where if you don't have an avatar it should read *NO AVATAR*). A preview of your avatar should appear to the right of the drop-down menu.
6) When you are satisfied, press Save Changes at the very bottom.
Congratulations! You now have an avatar image!
